On Sunday 18 October, The All Star Netball Competition took place at the Netball WA Gold Netball Centre.
Representative teams were selected from the best students across all schools within the three educational sectors of ACC (Associated and Catholic Colleges), IGSSA (Independent Girls Schools Sports Association) and SSWA (School Sports Western Australia or Government Schools).
Frayne is proud to announce that we had three students selected as part of the ACC team. This is a fantastic achievement, particularly given that the team was open to all 89 member schools within the ACC. Trinity Rond, currently completing her final year at Frayne, was selected for the second time while two Year 9 students, Charisse Rond and Aitaua Enari also made the team; a remarkable accolade, which really does reflect the high calibre of students and coaching at Frayne.
The ACC team opened the competition by winning their first game against the SSWA team. The match against the IGSSA team was more of a challenge but the ACC team managed to win the game 28-23.
Winning both games meant the ACC team won the All Star Netball Competition for the second year running. All girls played exceptionally well and represented the College with distinction. The successful campaign was made even more special when Aitaua Enari was announced as the competition’s MVP.
